SOUTHEASTERN ILLINOIS ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE

Southeastern Illinois Electric Cooperative teamed up with Cooperative Building Solutions to conduct a facility planning study on their facilities. Southeastern Illinois Electric Cooperative has decided to consolidate two facilities into one headquarters building near Harrisburg, IL. Southeastern Illinois Electric Cooperative serves over 23,000 accounts through 3,500 miles of power line. 

The new headquarters facility consists of 70,000 sq.ft. of office, vehicle storage, maintenance, and warehouse. Structural steel framing, standing seam metal roof, and a brick façade support the office, while the warehouse and vehicle storage buildings are pre-engineered metal structures. The HVAC system includes geothermal well design along with LED lights throughout the facility.
